The short film was inspired by Pietro Coppolecchia's "Beats, Rhymes & Life of Amsterdam Youth Culture", which investigated the way of life of Amsterdam's youngest youth in underground culture. From then on, I started to wonder how the cultural life of youngster in China would be different? In the following two years, I used a digital camera to record the young people from different ages, industries and regions around me. Ultimately, it came together in one experimental short film focusing on Chinese young generation and presenting their different states of life.
